Paternally derived chromosome 6q24 triplication causes neonatal diabetes mellitus

Introduction: Overexpression of the imprinted locus at chromosome 6q24, in which PLAGL1 and HYMAI are located, causes transient neonatal diabetes mellitus (transient NDM, TNDM).
