Introduction: Acne vulgaris affects up to 87% of adolescents. Isotretinoin is the most effective therapy for moderate to severe acne. As adverse effects of isotretinoin have been reported elevated aminotransferases (ALT and AST), hypertriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia.
